Why we started Foliemarked
We started Foliemarked because we saw the same problem again and again: wrapping jobs do not fit into the large job portals. There, wrapping sits side by side with plumbing, moving and gardening, in categories that are not set up for the trade. The result is that customers end up searching online and calling workshop after workshop, without one place that brings the trade together.
At the same time, good wrapping suppliers around the country had no natural channel to reach new customers outside their own network. Foliemarked is the answer: a marketplace built specifically for wrapping, PPF, signs and branding, where the categories are set up by people who know the trade.
The trade was there. What was missing was a place that brought it together.
What Foliemarked is – and what we are not
Foliemarked is a digital marketplace. We connect customers and suppliers, but we do not carry out the jobs ourselves and have no wrapping technicians of our own. That is a deliberate limitation, and it shapes how the platform is built.
We are a marketplace, not a wrapping workshop
We do not own the materials, we do not set the price, and we are not a party to the agreement between you and the supplier. The job, its quality and the guarantee are the supplier's responsibility.
You always choose
You decide which responses you want to consider, and you are never obliged to choose any of them. No commitment period, no hidden costs.
How we make money
You agree the price of the wrapping job itself directly with the supplier. Using Foliemarked as a platform has a simple cost structure, and it is the reason we can keep the platform free for you when you need a job done.
Free when you post a request
Posting a request is always free, whether you are a private person or a business. You pay nothing to receive or compare responses, and we take no commission on the job that is carried out.
How suppliers pay
Suppliers that want to respond to requests pay with tokens – through a subscription with tokens for each period, or by buying tokens. Tokens are deducted when the supplier sends its first response to a request, and the price may vary with the category.
What we require of suppliers
Every supplier on Foliemarked goes through a check before it can respond to requests. These are the minimum requirements:
Registered and verified business
CheckedThe supplier must be a registered Norwegian enterprise with an organisation number. We check that the business is registered and active in the Brønnøysund Register Centre before it is approved.
Confirmed authority and relevant activity
CheckedThrough a contact channel we find ourselves, we confirm that the person who registers the business may represent it, and that its activity fits the services it offers on Foliemarked.
Reviews only from completed jobs
Cannot be boughtReviews come from customers who have had a job done through the platform, and cannot be edited or bought by the supplier. Businesses that do not meet the requirements are rejected or blocked.
